JAMA Announces New Editorial Leadership Team
JAMA has appointed new editors-in-chief for its specialty journals and named its full editorial board and staff for the coming year.

The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) has announced its editorial leadership team for the year. The journal named new editors-in-chief for several of its specialty publications and listed its complete editorial board and masthead. The information was published by the JAMA Network.
Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo, PhD, MD, MAS, continues as the Editor in Chief of JAMA. Gregory Curfman, MD, serves as Executive Editor. The journal's deputy editors include Linda Brubaker, MD, Mary L. (Nora) Disis, MD, Karen E. Lasser, MD, MPH, Tracy A. Lieu, MD, MPH, Preeti N. Malani, MD, MSJ, Mary McGrae McDermott, MD, Christopher C. Muth, MD, Joseph S. Ross, MD, MHS, and Kristin Walter, MD, MS.
New Specialty Journal Editors
Several new editors-in-chief were appointed to lead JAMA's specialty journals. The appointments cover a wide range of medical disciplines.
Roy H. Perlis, MD, MSc, is now the Editor in Chief of JAMA+ AI. Linda Brubaker, MD, is the Editor in Chief of JAMA+ Women’s Health. Barbara Casadei, MD, DPhil, edits JAMA Cardiology. Dost Öngür, MD, PhD, leads JAMA Psychiatry. Eli N. Perencevich, MD, MS, is the editor for JAMA Network Open.
Editorial Board and Masthead
The journal's masthead includes a large team of senior editors, associate editors, and statistical reviewers. Annette Flanagin is the Executive Managing Editor. Stacy L. Christiansen is the Senior Managing Editor. Miriam Y. Cintrón is the Managing Editor.
The senior editors are Derek C. Angus, MD, MPH, and Philip Greenland, MD. The associate editors number more than twenty and include experts such as Rexford S. Ahima, MD, PhD, Rafael Campo, MD, MA, and Kimmie Ng, MD, MPH.
